What is Porky Isle Grooves?

Porky Isle Grooves is basically a vehicle for a group of enthusiastic music lovers to put new music out to the wild where people can hear it. Our mission is really simple: We create new music without too much genre considerations. We believe in creation by intuition as well as actually writing music. And we love improvisation as well. Even though PIG is a label it is even more a community and a hobby where we appreciate the freedom of creation and especially the FUN of making music.

The Pefflets

The Pefflets is a musical melting pot of nine individuals and a plethora of musical backgrounds making music that thrives to be more than a sum of its components. A collaborative where music takes center stage over anything extramusical.

Funkgression is about our understanding of The Groove. We try to create original music you can dance to. Just for the fun(k) of it.

The band consists of a bunch of musicians that have different musical backgrounds and forever open mind to the essence of the Groove.

Keith Pefflet & His Late Haystack Band

These are the voyages of a country band in its continuing mission to explore strange new worlds of music. Stemming from Pefflet brethren, Keith and Seamus lead us to trace the origins of their heritage to a farm nearby a mythical town that cannot be found on a map. They can find their Finnish roots colliding with American traditions in the cultural melting pot. It’s like browsing through odd frequencies on an old radio, where you can suddenly get a glimpse of moments, where past, present and future are connected.

The events and stories unfold as music and reveal times of joy and sorrow, love and longing, and sometimes something completely different. The quest is to find the timeless qualities of life that make us humans, and to turn them into songs. In this place truths become legends and legends become truths.
